Retirement is relative to lifespan. The greater that gets, the more we put it off, simply cos we can’t afford it. However, I read somewhere the year after retirement is a statisitical hotspot for natural death, something about needing a reason to live. So I don’t plan to retire unless it’s for one’s health.
Retirement is being financially able to have the choice to retire. I plan to do this in my 30′s or 40′s through real estate investments although just like you Chris, I don’t plan to “stop working” either.
i know you are getting old just remember the 80s wait no that was a bad time well you are screwed , also if you put a web cam in you coffin that will attracted both goths and geeks

A grownup who doesn’t play with toys is like a person who won’t admit to talking to his or her self. Perhaps you see no need to retire, because you are doing something you love and that is not the case for everyone. Having said that, a person should pursue a career in something he or she enjoys.
